BELMONT Search is a Construction and Infrastructure executive search firm. We are engaged on Superintendent searches with general contractors and construction managers in New York City.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Ground up and major interior projects across the five boroughs, carried from demolition or excavation through sign-off. The Superintendent holds the site and reports to the project executive or to the owner of the firm.

THE ROLE

The logistics plan, the trade sequence and the schedule are yours, and the assistant superintendents work to you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Site operations from demolition or excavation through punch and sign-off
• The logistics plan: hoisting, deliveries, street permits, site access
• Trade sequencing, and the look ahead against the master schedule
• Site safety and quality, to the standard the job and the city require
• Department of Buildings inspections and sign-offs
• The assistant superintendents assigned to you

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ten or more years in the field, several as superintendent of record in New York City
• Ground up or major interior work, in commercial, institutional or residential projects
• Site Safety Training card. A Site Safety Manager license is an advantage on several of these searches.
• Constrained sites where the logistics plan drives the schedule

COMPENSATION

Base of $145,000 to $185,000, depending on the builder and the project.
